Order & Payment
All items are supplied as an end user only and not for re-sale without prior written agreement otherwise. Emerald Office Solutions Ltd. reserves the right to change the specification of all products without notice.
Online payments are managed by Protx and HSBC Bank. They process your personal data on our behalf in the context of processing your payment to us and unless it is required to do so by law, your personal data will not be provided to third parties other than the Financial Institutions for the chosen payment method. Either Emerald Office Solutions Ltd or www.emeraldonline.co.uk may appear on your bank or credit card statement.
Business account customers are offered a strictly 30 day Nett credit account. Emerald reserves the right to cancel such an account facility without reason and to charge interest on all payments which exceed our trading terms.
Order fulfilment
The email confirmation you receive after placing an online order is an acknowledgment that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of your order. Order acceptance is at the point of dispatch of your order. The fulfilment of the order is subject to availability of products and settlement of payment.
Payment will normally be settled immediately and goods dispatched within 1 to 5 working days subject to availability. Every endeavour is made to dispatch your goods within a maximum of 28 days of receipt of your order. If this proves not to be possible we will contact you.
Dispatch may be fulfilled in more than one parcel or consignment. Items are usually dispatched as they become available. Regardless of the number of deliveries, you will only be charged the same over- all delivery charge per order.
The costs below refer to our standard UK mainland delivery service, we reserve the right to select the method of carriage most appropriate for the goods and destination.

Applies to businesses in the following areas:- Harlow, Sawbridgworth, Bishops Stortford, Stansted, Ware, Hertford, Cheshunt, Waltham Abbey and Epping Forest Areas.
Minimum order £30.00 excl. VAT. Orders below £30.00 will have a £2.50 handling fee added to your invoice.
Online Orders
Standard delivery to UK mainland for office stationary and consumables is £ 5.95 regardless of the size of order.
Furniture or bulky items will incur a delivery cost of between £10.00 and £20.00 depending on range chosen. You will be advised of the cost at the time of placing your order.
ErgoHuman, Enjoy, Therapod and Chiropod chairs are delivered fully assembled and ready to use.

Although standard delivery times can fluctuate due to reasons beyond our control, the following is a guide:-
United Kingdom: 2 to 7 days from dispatch
Furniture orders vary from 7 days to 28 days depending on the range and quantity chosen.

Order cancellation
You may cancel your order by sending an email to sales@emeraldonline.co.uk, please state your order number as a reference. Please note that cancellations are only possible until the order is processed in our system, orders already processed may be delivered in which case need to be returned.
Returns policy
Any damaged or faulty goods can be returned to us for a free replacement, subject to availability this replacement can be a similarly valued item.
Returns can be made within 14 days of receipt and only in the original, undamaged packaging.
Refunds will only be issued for products in perfect, unused condition. If the product returned is not in fully resalable condition or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct up to 20% of the original selling price from the refund amount.
We will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged and a replacement is not available.
None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights when goods are faulty.
Non-arrival of goods
You must contact us within 14 days exceeding the delivery notice we gave. We cannot be held responsible for lost parcels which are not reported to us within this period.
Property and Risk
For so long as any amounts remain owing from the Purchaser to Emerald Office Solutions Ltd (whether immediately due or not) title to the property of the goods shall remain with Emerald Office Solutions Ltd and ownership will not pass to the Purchaser until Emerald Office Solutions Ltd has received payment in full. In the event of the Purchaser reselling the goods, if Emerald Office Solutions Ltd has not received all amounts owing to it, the Purchaser shall account to Emerald Office Solutions Ltd for the proceeds of any such sale and meanwhile hold all proceeds of such sale of such goods upon trust of Emerald Office Solutions Ltd until Emerald Office Solutions Ltd have received such amounts in full. At any time after the due date for payment from the Purchaser to Emerald Office Solutions Ltd, and so long as such amounts have not been received by Emerald Office Solutions Ltd in full, Emerald Office Solutions Ltd, at the Purchaser's expense, shall have the right to enter the Purchaser's premises and remove therefrom all goods which remain the property of Emerald Office Solutions Ltd. In the event of any unpaid invoice, Emerald Office Solutions Ltd shall reserve the right to reclaim any goods previously supplied to the value of the unpaid invoice.
